"Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a suite with a private pool which was excellent. Amazing views out to spinalonga. Lovely restaurants within the resort. Elounda and plaka within short walking distance. "

"Stayed at NIKO for a long weekend in mid October - we had the BEST weather (sunny and warm but not too hot) and really enjoyed our time there. The views are just stunning (definitely recommend sea-view rooms). Great service and attention to detail. Breakfast buffet is excellent and all hotel staff from reception to bar/restaurant are incredibly nice and helpful. Thanks in particular to Manos, the night receptionist for being so helpful and welcoming when I arrived so early in the morning!"

"Minos Palace was simply excellent from the moment we checked-in thru to our departure. The rooms are immaculate, the restaurant areas amongst the best we’ve been to, the quality of cooking at the restaurants is world class. It’s an absolute gem. "

"Excellent place. Amazing food (actually too good). Nice staff. Only downer is a 100 euro "climate crisis tax" slapped on your bill at the end. If you're going to obligatorily add 100 euros to a bill. You should say this at the time of booking. When do we draw the line on this? A "water crisis tax" of 20,000 euros slapped on a check out bill? I realise it's not all their fault. But more could be done."

"Nice hotel outside the centre of town but close enough to still get in easily and with some local shops and tavernas close by as well. Restaurant is very expensive for what it is in the evenings and even the staff are clearly embarrassed about that. OTOH they did lay on a free hot meal for late arrivals which wasn't expected but was greatly appreciated. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast is good. Room was clean, well furnished and had a lovely sea view."

"This is a very nice hotel near the marina, a bit away from the chaos of the center of A.N. but still close to restaurants, the beach, etc. The perfect location in my opinion. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was fairly basic but clean. We booked a room with a large deck - enough room for 2 loungers, a bistro set, and a bit tub (with unheated water perfect for cooling off in). We spent quite a bit of time on that deck. Breakfast was very good as well. Good selection of foods in a nice room. We did.t try the pool or spa so can't comment on those facilities. "

"Loved this hotel! It was in walking distance to lake and to shopping/restaurants! The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of items. What made it even better was the staff!!!!! Will be back again really soon!"

"The complex was newly refurbished with a new pool area. Rooms were immaculate and well provisioned. Service was excellent from all staff. The only disappointment was that one restaurant was closed and the one that was open was buffet style. We were B&B only but paid to go to restaurant on first evening. The choice was quite limited and a little disappointing. We walked into the nearby (30min casual walk) and ate there in the wide choice of restaurants for the rest of the stay. Buffet style Breakfast was good though. "
