"They say they’re pet friendly but big signs up saying there’s a huge fine if you bring a pet! Very run down. We had a shared balcony so couldn’t have the door open for security and it got very warm. Although the hotel was almost empty the room next to us was booked and the walls are super thin and we were unlucky with noisy room neighbours. No staff on site "

"Pros: location is on the quieter side of Grindelwald, comfortable bed, clean room, easy self-check in, good breakfast and coffee. Cons: advertised as having a bike room but there is nothing to actually lock the bikes too, it’s just a store room to which everyone has access - leaving bike vulnerable. Advertised balcony is actually a communal wrap around, meaning privacy is decreased by other guests walking past."

"Yvonne is very helpful and friendly, the staff were amazing, good breakfast, there's no AC but it wasn't that bad, breezy inside if you open the window it gets cooler."
