"This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

"From the outside the Cornish Arms looks just like a local pub, but step inside and you instantly know it is anything but. It is very stylish indeed. Our room which was their standard double room,was very chic and we loved all the furnishings and attention to detail.It had a king size bed with high quality linen and was so comfy. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast too. "

"We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. "I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
