"Staff at front desk Kay was about as friendless as a Barricuda . Rooms are good size but outdated and musty smell bathrooms need facelift and beds replaced . Breakfast was good though but hey for $85 it’s not worst "

"I recently stayed at Best Western, & while the hotel itself is a bit older, it was VERY clean & well maintained. The bathtub, bed, & overall room cleanliness were excellent, which I truly appreciated. However, I found the pricing to be quite high for the overall experience. The breakfast was disappointing, especially the eggs. I ended up just eating waffles, as the other options were not very appealing. Unfortunately, my biggest concern came after my stay. I accidentally left behind a small bag & contacted the hotel right away. The staff initially confirmed they had found the item and advised me to email a prepaid shipping label. I was also told that management would take care of getting the package shipped. I followed their instructions, purchased a prepaid label with insurance, and called to confirm that everything had been sent. I was reassured that the item would be shipped out, which I truly appreciated at the time. However, the next day I received a call stating that they were unable to take the package to UPS, & that I would need to pay an additional fee to arrange a UPS pickup instead. This was both unexpected and frustrating, especially since I had already followed their original instructions and paid for shipping and insurance. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen, the change in information led to unnecessary additional costs & inconvenience. What started as a positive customer service experience unfortunately turned into a disappointing one."

"We booked 3 nights for the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament. Upon checkin the room looked clean and spacious. We checked in very tired from a day of walking in the heat. We went to dinner then straight to bed. The next evening my husband and I both noticed something protruding from a corner of the wall in the bathroom beside the shower. Upon closer inspection…we found it to be a literal mushroom(about 4 inches long) growing from an area of obvious mold. There was another area of mold on the other end of the shower as well. We called the front desk. Someone came about 30 minutes later and scraped the area and mushroom away. Sprayed a chemical then covered both areas back over with caulk. I can’t imagine the amount of mold in those walls to support a live mushroom!!! This is a real health hazard and should not be an issue when paying for a hotel. Needless to say, we checked out that morning around 11:30. We were not offered another room until we were at the front desk without bags packed and leaving. I wouldn’t feel safe staying there anyway. The receptionist did not give me a receipt and actually denied a refund for the night we did not stay. I have the pictures of the mold and the mushroom. My husband and I both began sneezing and coughing on our second day. We did call Hilton as my husband is a Silver member. They did request the pictures of the mold and growing mushroom(fungus.) we are waiting to hear back from them about a refund for the night we did not feel safe to stay. "

"Literally Sucked... wouldn't stay again... the No Staff is one thing but renting the parking lot to 7 plus Tour Busses 4 of which parked outside our door ... a light outside our room lit up the rom like a football stadium... Tour Busses opening cargo doors and starting diesel engines... it was clean ... beds are real hard with little cushion... hot water .. that's it "
