"I am so glad we found Hotel Falken for our stay in Wengen. I adored the historic charm that made this place so special from the quaint and comfortable rooms (with an actual skeleton key), to the old music that greets you in the parlor to the idyllic ivy-filled, tree covered outdoor garden to Charlie the beautiful Samoyed hotel pet, this hotel was a brilliant home away from home. I'm so glad I discovered it, and now there's no other place I will stay when I'm in in Wengen."

"BEAUTIFUL!!! Seriously, the view from our room/ balcony was beyond breathtaking! I could go on and on about the view! The entire hotel/restaurant/staff was top notch as well. There is a self serve laundry on site as well as a game room and LIBRARY! We stayed only two nights and next time will stay more. We learned: when you arrive in Wengen by cog train, CALL HOTEL! It’s an uphill walk to hotel which is fine - but not w luggage! They will come get you if you call. We left our rental car in Lauterbrunnen carpark which is safe and easy, but finding a way to take a train to Lauterbrunnen and then the cog train would be more restful. 100% visit Wengen, stay at Jungfraublick hotel, and get balcony room facing the Alps."

"Wilderswil is an adorable town in close proximity to Interlaken, which makes the hotel an ideal base for exploring. The hotel itself is beautiful. It retains much of its coaching inn heritage. Breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of offerings. One thing to note: because it is a heritage property close to the mountains, it retains heat. In the recent heatwave, this made our east-facing room rather hot, even with the fan, so we spent our evenings walking around town to cool off."

"Staff is really helpful and amazing. The breakfast is good too although I wish there were a bit more variations. The muesli is really good gave me the right carb load before hikes. The elevator stopped working due to a flooding and wasn’t repaired during the duration of our stay. But the staff helped us with the luggage. Train station is really close by and the bar and grill is very good too. Few things that can be improved — room could be given more light. Additionally a longer mirror is really needed."

"Older hotel that has not been renovated but was clean and the beds were comfy (most important!). Decent amount of space in the room. Disappointed that the AC was not working during a heat wave. The pool looked really nice. Overalll a nice stay and happy breakfast was included. I understand it is high season but not what I would call worth $400/night."
