Do not stay at this property. It’s disgusting. Our sheets were crusty, room was dirty, not dusted, and smelled like smoke. You could not pay me to stay here again.

Appreciate for staying at our hotel and accept our sincere apologies for your discomfort but the fact that sheets were changed when they were brought at the front desk after you had spent 10+ hours in the room in the middle of the night and also if it smelt like smoke , it should have been felt as soon as you walked into the room and not in the middle of the night. Again I am so sorry and 20% discount for the first night have been refunded for the inconvinience. Thank you

Toilet did not work. Since it was used before I knew this I repaired it. I told the front desk he told me I could email the manager for a possible discount. I emailed him while I was still there on a Saturday. It is the Sunday of the next weekend and my email was never responded to. They are so cheap they don’t put ice machines on the second floor, just the first and third. If you’re looking for an out of the way inconvenient location with tattooed staff, this is your place.

It is updated for the most part and the pillows are comfy. Only issues was our shower had little water pressure, the carpet kept the door from closing so you have to make sure you shut the door really well. The check in female was so friendly!

The staff were not professional and the room was dirty. Outside, there is construction causing, a lot of noise. I don’t recommend.

The property is old and could use an update. There was an odd smell throughout, wallpaper peeling off the walls and an overall dingy and outdated feeling. Other hotels in the area are likely in a more convenient setting, closer to main roads and dining/shopping. But the service was attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was decent. It sufficed for our needs as a quick stop on a road trip, but we’ll look at other options next time we go through town.

The staff checking me in was so friendly and personable! He really made me feel welcomed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The property could use some cleaning up as there was trash about like empty booze bottles. And the hotel is ready for updating. But it fit my needs and I had no complaints with my stay.

Not the best not the worst
It’s was decent for most part. Found toenails on the chair that were left there. Access is not the best. Incidental hold is wayyy to much. 150 a night is not necessary and always love the statement when u check out you automatically get it back. That is not true takes days. Front desk clerk claimed it was high because they are off the highway and a college town. No excuse we have stayed in over 30 hotels in the last year and none of them were that much.

Facility was clean. Check in personnel was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Gravy was cold. Top drawer of the TV stand/ dresser had nails sticking out of the front. Kind of dangerous. Just needs some attention. Overall, a pretty nice experience.

We have had 3 not so great experiences at 2 hotels and a Air Bnb in the past 3 months. Was referred by multiple KU parents this was nice to stay. Young men at desk so nice and considerate. Definately would stay again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Lawrence, Kansas. Check-in: Fri Dec 1st; check-out: Sun Dec 3rd, 2023. Rebecca and Cole at the front desk were very kind, and courteous. The hostess in the breakfast area was attentive and efficient. Issues: 1) The television did not play anything except MTV when we tried to watch it the evening of Dec 2. The front desk attendant Rebecca came to our room and tried to fix it; she changed batteries in the remote and tried other things, still with no success. 2) Due to the TV issue at approximately 9:00 pm the night before our checkout, the staff said we may move to a different room. NOTE: To move our belongings out of one room and into another starting around 9:00 pm would put us past the time to begin watching a movie. 3) The turntable in the microwave does not turn. As we popped popcorn in our Weight Watcher microwave popper, the popcorn burnt in one section. This also left a permanent black area in our Weight Watchers popper. I emailed Mehul Parikh (general mgr of this property) at kucomfortinn@gmail.com (as Cole suggested) a photo of our burnt popcorn popper as well as a description of these issues. Mehul stated on Dec 3: "I will check and see if there is any possibility to offer some disc. Will get back with you by tomorrow" By Dec 6, I had still not heard back from Mr. Parikh; so, I sent him a reminder email that same day. As of Dec 17, Mehul still has not emailed me back as he promised; and, he has not provided any refund.

Dear Mr. Rogers,Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. I do want to bring some facts here regarding your review. First of all TV was working until the night of 2nd and you were to check out on Morning of 3rd. You were offered to move to a next door room but you opted to stay in the same room. As far as Microwave is concerned, I have a note from Cole and Head housekeeper that Microwave had no issue and it is still in the room and being used. So it might be an operation issue.I sincerely apologize for any discomfort you may have encountered .Appreciate and hope to see you in future.

Updated and great in all areas.
This place is newly remodeled, all nice, large room with high ceilings, art on the walls, ice available, great hot breakfast…all the things and fog comfy.
