"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."

"Property was v nice and clean. A couple of things to note...Difficulty in getting keys to flat was v stressful and at one point i didnt think i was going to get the keys. This could have been better organised. The shower in the bathroom is far to hot and would be dangerous for children to use as this could cause scalding on a child. "We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property in an amazing and picturesque location. The cottage has everything a family of four could possibly need and Susan was a great host. If you would prefer something a little different to the same old boring hotels and you don't want or need to be in the centre of Belfast, I would highly recommend."

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"We stayed at the Haslem Hotel over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had requested a cot for our room, which was already set up – such a thoughtful touch that made things so much easier for us as a family with a young baby. The hotel’s lobby is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and modern atmosphere. We also really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast – the food was excellent, with great quality and flavour. One thing we really appreciated was the live music in the evening – it had a calm and inviting feel, perfect for a weekend stay. And despite the entertainment downstairs, our room was peaceful and quiet, which was a huge plus with a baby. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the Haslem Hotel. It’s a great choice for families and couples looking for comfort, style, and great service."

"We had a lovely stay at Drum Manor. Valerie was a great host, making sure we were comfortable in our room and then the next morning, providing a delicious breakfast. The rooms are in great condition and nicely decorated, including a freestanding rolltop bath! There are 360 degree views as Drum Manor is on a hilltop. Valerie gave us a great dinner recommendation in Hillsborough (The Plough) so would also recommend that. 10/10 would definitely stay again."

"Parking area very safe with plenty of disabled bays. Reception area busy with afternoon teas and people relaxing and socialising in the evening which gave off a good vibe. Very professional staff. Bar and tables cleared quickly and efficiently. Friendly staff. Singer on Saturday night very enjoyable. "
