"the parking situation was sooo difficult...far away, all cobblestones, ugh. they did send me an email about the difficulties but it was AFTER i booked. TV was awful, BBC news was the only english station. front desk did not speak or understand any english. could not drive to hotel, it was surrounded by ped areas and that was not clear. i called to see how to get in and thats when i realized the no english situation. all i understood was 'parking palais du papes' ugh. i will alwlays choose on...

"Great choice of hotel. It is located in the very center of Avignon where bars and restaurants are. It is a pleasant walk to explore the city and its heritage. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. We stayed in March. The hotel rate is exceptionally good for what we got. "

"Great location. Unfortunately there is no elevator and our room was up 3 flights of stairs with luggage a challenge. Breakfast was great with Nespresso coffee. Easy to walk entire Avignon sites. Frederick gave us excellent info on what to see and where to eat. Charming Boutique hotel although the streets cape next to a Tattoo parlour was a bit off putting . "The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit."
