The hotel is wonderful. I struggle with french and everyone there was able to help me or speak to me in English. The staff were all kind, the breakfast was delicious and the beach was beautiful.

< 5 stars : - food choices were basic / often ran out early of popular choices - some staff appeared annoyed to deal with someone English speaking - maybe create a separate coffee station because often staff cannot serve or notice everyone; weekends when local families come led to a larger staff to client ratio so I just didn't bother waiting to be served - lack of shaded seat options at the beach; beach not great for people who enjoy swimming > 3 stars - quiet and pretty beach or ocean facing suites - nice concierge for day trips albeit options limited - front desk did their best to accommodate English speaking guest - good drinks at the beach hut Overall a decent place to stay. Mostly courteous enough, mostly enough of everything. Glad they had a vending machine.

Loved the scenic location of the hotel and the hotel grounds which are very well maintained. The hotel reception staff were amazing and they were very helpful. Loved the spacious and clean room. Breakfast was excellent. Also enjoyed dinning at hotel restaurants. Parking was free and convenient.

The room was clean, the food at both restaurants was good, the staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast had lots of options, although I did wish they had an option for self serve for tea and coffee, it is just more accommodating to get it ourselves than to flag someone and wait for it. The beach is clean and the water is good for swimming, the beach chairs with shade is limited.

Check in was very good. The staff are helpful and very efficient. The room was acceptable and clean however, insects were able to find their way into this ground floor room . We requested a room change and this was accommodated without hassle. Breakfast was very good with many options as well as both inside and outside seating. The outside seating area has many aggressive black birds which proved to be unwelcomed by some guests. The private beach on the compound is OK, the facilities are satisfactory and there are ample beach chairs. There are many nicer beaches on the island within a few minutes' drive. The pools appeared to be well kept and were never overcrowded. The shower area near the pool entrance is not suitably located and may cause guests to either slip or hurt their backs on entering due to an unexpected step down. Although the compound shows signs of aging and is in need of some upgrades, there is no shortage of hospitality and excellent service from all staff members. Whether at the tour desk, restaurant or reception area, staff went out of their way to assist and always displayed genuine concern.

This was our third trip to La Creole Beach hotel and we had a wonderful stay! The buffet food was terrific, the service was efficient, and the beach is always beautiful. You almost don't want to recommend this gem because what makes it great is that it is more laid back than a lot of traditional hotels in the Caribbean. You don't have to fight for a seat at the pool or beach and it really is the definition of relaxation on such a beautiful island.

Enjoyable short stay

I stayed one night with my 5-year-old son. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English, which made communication easy. The room floor was not the cleanest, but I didn’t mind. The hotel buildings and pool are not in the best shape. There is quite a renovation backlog. Hence a bit overprized, but overall, we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was very good and the service people there were also very nice and welcoming.
