"The Chateau is very charming and quaint. The rooms don’t offer air conditioning but they provided fans. Initially the fan we had was blowing heat and the staff couldn’t locate a different one for us so we saw them assembling something at registration and when we returned to our room later there was a brand new, better fan waiting for us. "The room was very clean, however we could never get the safe to work properly even after the hotel staff reset it. Bar was nice and relaxing. The staff was terrific. Breakfast was ok. We ate there the first morning only. Overall a great place to stay."

"Stayed 4 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was ok, eggs, bacon pastries and breads. Not always quick to replenish, and toaster broken one morning. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but no other restaurants nearby apart from Mc Donald’s. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking. Dogs seemed to be allowed in for breakfast and 2 were actually sitting on seats at the table being fed meats by their owners!"

"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."
