"Unfortunately the second night we of our stay the fire pit had no propane for use, we were unable to use our window like the other rooms because there was no screen for our window. Pillows are absolutely terrible to the point we didn't sleep and didn't care to stay the second night and almost left. First night the hotel was flooded with people drinking alcohol and very loud because of it. On a plus side check in was great, hotel is very clean, and spa outside area was still very nice over all....

"I liked the cleanliness of the room and grounds. The staff were excellent, the only thing I did not like was the room heating / cooling system seemed to need a filter replacement. I was so stuffed up at night, I had to turn the heating / cooling system off as well as my second night I did not even turn it on and had a much better sleep. The buffet is over priced in my opinion, I would think a more reasonable price would be 15-18 dollars, it is not worth 25 dollars and the waiter who brings you...

"A quiet location but so close to the ByWard Market & 20 minutes walk to Parliament Hill. Fridge, microwave, kitchenette, big TV & air con meant nothing was lacking. A good breakfast was included. We would stay there again."

"The bathroom needed work, the toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, there were gaping holes in the counter where I assume Kleenex and a different type of tp holder had been. The beds have all metal frames and squeak terribly with every move. Not great."

"The lobby had a strong unpleasant odor that resembled rotten eggs, and our roon had bad sweat odor perhaps from people who stayed before us or the hotel staff that cleaned it prior to our arrival - which was disappointing given both the price point and the reputation of this hotel brand. The rooftop space is excellent, and the location is undoubtedly one of the property's biggest strengths. However, beyond those highlights, the overall experience was fairly average.
