"Staff was very accommodating. Room was ok but toilet didn’t flush without the water constantly running. Shower gel, shampoo & condition bottles were all empty in the shower. Had to call for new ones. "

"This was a grand old mansion that was well cared for. The room was lovely, warm and comfortable. There was one other couple staying but we never saw them. The morning breakfast bar was more than adequate and the coffee was delicious. There were several sitting rooms on the first floor which were sunny and relaxing. Parking was right behind the house and keyless entry worked very well. This was a lovely location and I wish we had more time to stay there."

"This place is a gem. We loved our brief stay at this charming, old-school lodge on a lake. We were welcomed with mulled cider (adult mix), brownies, and kindness by a charming hostess who turned was helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a lovely view of Laurel Lake. The bed was comfortable and the bedding of high quality. Breakfast more than met our exectations. We can't wait to come back!"

"The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The parking lots and grounds were unsafe. It's winter time and they should know better. Each time we went to our car we felt we were going to slip and fall. Same with the path from our room to the breakfast area. We came here for a relaxing baby moon and feared for our safety any time we left the room. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon we were told the parking lots would soon be plowed. We left on a Sunday morning and neither had been...

"Found dead flies in the beds and the sheets were stained. I would not expect much from an inexpensive room but I do expect it to be clean."
