"When we arrived we were informed that they were renovating the facility. We were told they were replacing windows and that the crews would start at 8 am. We were then informed that the restaurant and bar were closed.
They did start replacing windows the next day and were banging and making a LOT of noise with drills.
We opened the back door to our room to get fresh air. My sister had her service dog with her and the dog would bark when they were banging and making noise drilling. She barked maybe 6 times.
We received a call from the front desk asking about the dog. My sister informed them she is a service animal and offered to bring her service animal paperwork for them to see. They said that wasn't necessary. We were booked in to the hotel for 2 nights. On the second day (my sister's birthday) the management called me and told me we were being evicted because the dog was barking. I explained the dog barked because of the banging and drilling from the window replacement. The management did NOT care and they actually kicked us out of the hotel. I told the front desk I wanted a FULL refund for the night we were missing. They said they would refund Expedia and I would need to get my refund from Expedia.
We had to change hotels and pay $356 for the night of my sister's birthday.
All in all this was a terrible experience!!!"
