"We enjoyed a very good one-night stay at the DC International whilst passing through Padova. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with special mention to Marco and Georgia on reception who made us feel very welcome and gave lots of useful information. The bar and restaurant staff likewise were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel with free parking was convenient, and the room had all you would expect in a modern hotel."

"Staff are wonderful breakfast very good but our room the bedroom was on a different level too bathroom 3 small flights wooden stairs not ideal at our age, the hotel is a lovely genuine Venice building, but due too issues with water pressure we could not shower two consecutive afternoons, this might been outside the control of hotel as I understand there was outside work taking place but after long days one needs a shower."

"First of all the location is mere steps from the Piazza San Marco and getting to sit by the window and watch the gondolas and the people going about their day was cute. I love the bottle of champagne that the hotel provided for me and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I didn't take a water taxi to the hotel but I did take one when I transferred to my next place and it's definitely easier than lugging your suitcase through the streets. "Its a great location- easy access both to quieter parts of Venice either north east or across teh canal and west and walking distance to St Marks and the Rialto. The staff were delightful and helpful. We took our disabled son with us and the stafff could not have been kinder to him. The rooms are a great size and all the facilities worked well- including the air conditioning! The breakfast was good and certainly of a standard to match a 4 * hotel. "Very good hotel, excellent location. Good breakfast, nice room, great air-conditioning, helpful staff. The only problem I had, I was there for a conference and there was no iron in the room. We had to use the laundry room on 4th floor that was not very comfortable."
