Only real downside (and it wasn't), it's not the place if you're looking for a quiet place to rest. The Victoria is right in the middle of the "action" part of town. "This hotel was the first and last hotel on our 2-week trip by train through Germany. We walked here from the Hbf and were very tired after a long flight from Canada and arrived in the lobby at 10AM. Our room would not be ready until 3PM. We sat in the lobby and must have looked a sorry sight. Our check-in person gave us a complimentary room upgrade to Premier Plus and we were in our room before noon. The room was clean and comfortable. We had to leave at 6AM to catch our ICE train to Hamburg so we did not get to enjoy breakfast."

"Everything in the room worked. The room was a good size, clean and had a fridge and a safe. The bed was comfortable. The room's AC worked but was limited to only a 3 degree drop in temperature. Cleaning of the room was only done every three days. The area was nice and close to U Bahn and an easy walk to the city centre."
