"This was an overnight stop on our way to Italy. The hotel was very quiet despite close proximity to the motorway. The staff were really helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice views over the surrounding hills. No tea/coffee in the room but a station off reception with free water, tea and coffee. "Overall, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. The views are breathtaking, the grounds and pool are beautiful, the breakfast buffet and restaurant were excellent, and the air conditioning was a huge relief during the heatwave. While the property isn't modern, it has a lot of charm. Our biggest challenge was transportation. Although the hotel is described as being within walking distance of Menaggio, that's only realistic with very light luggage. Taxis were difficult to find during our stay, and...
