"This hotel is well located but it is quite long in the tooth and does reflect the wear and tear of being connected to a convention center. We stayed for 4 nights in a very dark room on the 2 nd floor. There were two nights when the room above us was quite noisy, the AC system was loud and not terribly efficient but it was the awful smell in the lobby that made me wonder if anyone is actually paying attention to the air circulating system in this place. It was a sewer type smell and believe me you couldn’t avoid it anytime you walked by the front desk. They had a blower going the whole time we were there. The hotel has brighter floors, perhaps even fresher feeling rooms, but we were not in that circumstance during our stay. Again, I found the staff to be friendly but the overall ambience was definitely off-putting considering the price we paid for our stay."
