"I recently stayed at this hotel, and for the most part, my experience was excellent. Check-in was smooth, the staff throughout my stay were friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable.
Unfortunately, my good experience took a turn when it came time to retrieve my car from valet parking — which happens to be the only parking option at the hotel. After requesting my car, I waited quite a long time, checking with several employees and even speaking with a manager more than once. Eventually, I learned that my car key had been lost.
It took over two hours of waiting and working with both the hotel manager and the valet department manager before a locksmith was called to make a replacement key. This unexpected delay caused me to leave much later than planned. I was trying to beat an incoming snowstorm at the summit but ended up getting caught in it, having to purchase tire chains and pay for installation and removal — all of which could have been avoided if my key had not been misplaced in the first place.
I really appreciated how the managers ultimately helped resolve the issue, but the experience greatly affected my departure and travel plans. I hope the hotel reviews and improves its valet procedures so that this doesn’t happen to future guests."
