The view the pool the staffs are amazing! Location is closed to the yellow bride, the staff were very helpful. They were arranging our fast boat transfer also our one day tour to Nusa Penida!

Our stay wasn’t what we expected. The view from the pool and the pool itself were a highlight. The cabin/hut was quite run down. The mosquito net wasn’t great at keeping the mosquitos away. This was probably due to the fact that the doors and windows don’t actually shut fully. When having a shower the entire area was flooded. Also on our last day we noticed a mouse in our room. We organise a trip through the hotel to Nusa Penida which was quite disappointing if you’re looking to see the tourist attractions rather than just take pictures. Generally, quite difficult to get around if you cannot drive or do not want to hire a moped. Although a lot of the restaurants have a shuttle service which made it easier.

Bungalows with terrific view
Small hotel which is situated in the hills. It is a little bit tricky to find the way since Google gives you the direction along the coastline towards Yellow bridge. Instead you should choose the bumby road in the middle of the island. Nice bungalows with a terrific view. The bathroom is open-air. Great infinity pool. There is a possibility to get massage in the hotel which we tried. 150 k for 60 minutes. Breakfast is included but there is not much to choose from if you do not like eggs. There are only a couple of restaurants nearby which means that you have to get a taxi or rent a scooter to get some more alternatives. The manager and rest of staff were very helpful.

Awesome resort, but just a bit far
We had a really good time here and absolutely loved the view -- and since it wasn't very full when we were there, it felt like a remote, private resort all to ourselves. Soaking in the pool overlooking the ocean was incredible. The room was equally nice and we loved the outdoor shower and view from our room. One thing to note in staying here, however, is that it's not near any other places you'd want to go on Nusa Lembongan, which meant a 10 minute scooter drive to another area, which was fine for us. The roads are also not on Google Maps so it takes some learning the way in order to navigate.

This was the jewel in the crown on my recent visit to Bali, it was so great to just sit back and relax and enjoy one or 2 cocktails (Maybe more). Great staff and the price for what we got was very good

Nos hemos decepcionado un poco por el estado de la habitacion, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, la limpieza no era optima, las instalaciones eran antiguas. Nos gustaría destacar la imagen del manager “Putu” !increible! trabajador incansable, amable y atento con todos sus clientes. En general es aceptable el hotel, lo recomendariamos, deberían mejorar lo anterior expuesto.

Beautiful views and lovely pool. Our room wasn’t cleaned once during our 2 night stay and both the bathroom and bedroom were dusty. Really bad lighting inside the bedroom. You really need to hire a scooter to get around from the hotel. Overall good value for money.

Great location with great views
We loved our stay at Poh Manis, the location and views are simply amazing. It may seem away from the main part of Lembongan, but in reality, it is exceptionally central to get around on a scooter and secluded at the same time. John and staff were all amazing with great recommendations and helpful when needed. The only thing I would say could be improved is the bed, we could have done with an extra pillow each to make it more comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Wir hatten einen Bungalow der höchsten Kategorie gebucht. Leider hatte das Hotel bei unserer Ankunft keinen frei (warum? Wissen wir nicht.) Uns wurde gesagt, der für uns vorgesehene sei zur Zeit defekt. Dafür gab man uns einen anderen, der Preis blieb aber gleich. Als Ausgleich sollten wir gratis Mittag-Essen bekommen. Am nächsten Tag wohnte in dem "defekten" Bungalow ein neues Päärchen Gäste. Bei der Endabrechnung versuchte der Manager zuerst statt dem Mittgessen ein Frühstück zu streichen. Nach einem Hinweis meinerseits, dass er gerade das Frühstück gestrichen habe und nicht das Mittagessen, gab er einen Spruch auf indonesisch von sich. Das Mittagessen wurde uns dann "nur" zu 50% berechnet. Er teilte mir dies aber auch nicht mit, sondern notierte sich nur Zahlen und rechnete diese mit seinem Taschenrechner zusammen um mir dann die Endsumme zu zeigen. Ein derartiges Verhalten ist allerletzte Schublade. Leider blieb mir keine Zeit den Manager zur Rede zu stellen, da wir sonst unsere Fähre verpasst hätten. Schade, so wurde aus einem Hotel dass sich bemüht schnell ein Unternehmen, dass seine Gäste betrügt. Dieses Verhalten

Dépaysant avec vue magnifique.
Hôtel loin du centre de Nusa Lembongan mais depuis la piscine, vous avez une vue magnifique sur la mer proche de Nusa Ceningan. L'hôtel est tout proche du Yellow Bridge séparant Lembongan et Ceningan (15min à pied) ce qui fait vous pouvez aller à pied au STOP CAFE BAR à Nusa Ceningan pour voir un magnifique coucher de soleil au bord de la mer. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas copieux mais bon. Hôtel très dépaysant et le personnel est sympa.

Nice little hotel, located on top of a hill, with sunrise view on Nusa Ceningan. The infinity pool looked gorgeous. The staff is very helpful, but the owner is ready to sell you anything. We felt pressured to eat there and buy everything (snorkling, food, motorcycle, etc) through them. It is important to know that the hotel is kind of far from anything and a little secluded, so you'll either need to rent a scooter to visit the island, or be prepared to walk for a long time. If you want a relaxing time, far from the action, it is the perfect place for you.

Nice location, ok service
Pros: Great location, just a 15 minute walk from the yellow bridge (from where you access Nusa Ceningan, and where you can get a boat to Nusa Penida). Devil's Tear is a must-see and while it's a bit of a walk to get there from here, there are restaurants near the spot that will provide free pick-up and drop-off if you make a reservation, which is amazing. Pool has a great view of the sunrise, and the food is good. Cons: While the staff are friendly, they do not have your best interests at heart - when asking for recommendations on renting a scooter, getting to Nusa Penida, etc. the prices they tell you and swear by are about double what we actually paid when we went to the source. As a hotel guest you expect more honest information, and so we found this unpleasant. But, so long as you seek out these services on your own as we did pretty easily, this location is good and the day to day services are fine.

Le personnel est incroyable et très accueillant. La vue sur la mer de la piscine est superbe. L'hôtel est un peu loin des choses à voir, mais il suffit de louer un scooter directement à l'hôtel pour 80 000Rp et tout se fait très bien. Quelques petits accrochages: il n'y a pas eu d'électricité pendant une nuit, car le personnel est partit sans l'activer (donc pas d'air climatisé) et la salle de bain extérieure n'est pas très agréable, mais ça fait partie de l'expérience! Sinon c'était parfait

Room was acceptable but the shower runs out of hot water every time after 3 minutes of showering, location was also very remote, unless you want to take some sletchy stairs at the back of the mountain which is also a construction site.

Une bonne adresse
Accueil très sympathique . Un peu de cafouillage avec la réservation qui n'avait pas été transmise par le site de réservation.Le n° de tel de l'hôtel sur le site de réservation n'était pas le bon. Nous n'avons donc pas pu les joindre auparavant et demander qu'ils viennent nous chercher. Le personnel est très agréable, le manager très attentionné. Ils nous ont organisé depuis l'hôtel une sortie snorkelling où nous étions seuls sur le bateau, à notre rythme: c'était parfait. La personne qui assure les massages était absente le jour où nous avons demandé. Le manager a appelé une masseuse du spa voisin qui est venue à l'hôtel. Une des cuisinières nous a fait découvrir un "pépés ikan" délicieusement parfumé. La piscine et la vue de la piscine sont belles.Notre bungalow était confortable, bien équipé. L'hôtel est très calme, loin de l'agitation et l'ambiance pas toujours agréable près de la plage( sollicitations ++). La contrepartie est l'isolement. Si on souhaite bouger, l'hotel appelle un chauffeur ou loue des scooters. L'île se prête bien au scooter. La fin de la route qui mène à l'hôtel est abîmée, mais reste très praticable. Les commentaires lus sur ce sujet m'avait fait craindre le pire.

Good service and friendly staff, immediate help was rendered whenever we needed any. Value stay for an affordable price, best for couples or small families. Quite a distance away from beaches and attractions, however transportations/ bike rental are easily available.

The best view on the island
The villa is situated high on the hills so the view was amazing. We could see the ocean and other islands from our bed and porch. The villa itself has a nice comfortable bed but it could be a little cleaner and perhaps even upgraded. The towels were not very new and clean so we had to go and buy our own. The wooden walls had some holes as well. There is only an outdoor shower and toilet so if it rains, expect to get a little wet from the rain. It rained one night while we were there and we bathed in the rain and the shower but it wasn't an issue for us. The water on the island isn't as clean as mainland Bali so rainwater doesn't really make a huge difference. The staff was amazing and helpful. They helped get us around the island on their motorbikes and got various restaurants to pick us up. The villa is very peaceful and the pool was the best part of it. The most amazing pool we've swimmed in so far and it even has a little pretty lodge looking over the hills. Overall, this is definitely a place you have to stay at for a couple nights (maybe just 1 or 2 if you are unwilling to compromise just a little cleanliness and comfort) to experience it's natural beauty and tranquility. Having mentioned all the pros of our stay here, it was definitely more than worth it and the issues we mentioned could easily be overlooked. Also, we paid a good price for this place.

Beautiful Sunrise Views on Lembongan
We chose this place due to its nice views of the ocean and somewhat remote setting. On those two points we were pleased. The views of the moonrise and sunrises were stunning and the views of the other Nusa islands make for peaceful beauty throughout the day. One thing anyone should be made aware of is that, while this is a small island, this hotel is remote from any areas of activity (about 30 minutes by windy rarely maintained road). That makes for a very quiet surrounding with no sound of any road traffic, only occasional boat engines from the water below. The staff were very pleasant although a bit disorganized. Our reservation had not been noted to the staff on site when we arrived so things were a bit confusing. Our ocean view turned out to be a partial ocean view, later very thankfully they upgraded us to a newer unit with a better unobstructed view. Food is ok and the staff seemed addicted to an Indian TV soap opera so don't expect quiet romantic dinners. D'mas huts down the road has an excellent restaurant with an amazing view so I recommend eating there. The cabins here are quite comfortable with air conditioning, mosquito nets over the bed and private outdoor bathrooms. Our AC in one unit wasn't functioning but the staff fixed it within a couple hours of notification. Overall I'd go back but would do more to ensure knowledge of our arrival and specifics about expectations were made with the manager.

A great spot away the crowds for relaxation
The staff at Poh Manis were wonderful and always willing to assist with travel and meal requests. The resort is located away from the beaches and populated tourist areas so it's ideal for reading and relaxation with a great swimming pool overlooking the strait. The rooms are large with an outdoor bathroom. Rooms are serviced daily. While it's not centrally located, all the restaurants were willing to pick-up and drop-off diners after their dining experience. And while the road to the resort is in need of repair, it adds to the village experience with the odd rooster and chickens wandering across and locals along the way only to happy to smile and wave. A great spot to get away from it all! Or for the more adventurous the staff will organise snorkelling and other boat activities.

Der Ausblick ist wirklich grandios. Jedoch hat das Hotel einiges an Verbesserungspotential. Wir waren 8 Nächte in diesem Hotel und unsere Handtücher wurden nur einmal gewechselt. Die Armaturen der Badezimmer sind sehr verkalkt und somit kommt kaum Wasser ausm Hahn. Außerdem gibt es einige größere Spalte an den Zimmerwänden somit können Mücken und sonstiges Getier jederzeit ins Zimmer kommen. Was sowieso der Fall ist, da zwischen Dach und Wand ein großer Spalt ist - wahrscheinlich zur Ventilation? Zum Glück gibt es überm Bett ein Moskitonetz. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass in Asien immer noch ein anderer Standard herrscht als z.B. In Deutschland. Es gab öfters mal Stromausfall - was aber normal ist und uns nicht gestört hat. Leider ist Essen im Hotel nicht sonderlich lecker, was sehr schade ist, da der Essensraum auch den wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer hat. Aber wir können das Mama Mia sehr empfehlen was leicht mitm Roller zu erreichen ist. Roller kann man sich außerdem Problemlos vom Hotel ausleihen. Nichts desto trotz ist der Manager super höflich und zuvorkommend und versucht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Achtung die Treppenstufen im Hotel sind extrem Steil / hoch und somit nix für Personen mit gehproblemen!!!

Great bungalow, friendly staff!
We stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable, and really made this place great. John in particular was so nice and helped us arrange a private snorkeling trip, and showed my boyfriend the best place to surf. The hotel was a little more out of the way than other hotels in Lembongan, but an easy moped ride away from anything we needed. It was very quiet at night and we felt extremely safe. I would definitely recommend it for couples, although we did see a larger group staying there as well.

Fin utsikt, men ikke mer.
Det så ikke bra ut rundt hotellet, mye rot og søppel.... Bassenget var ok, og utsikten var fin. Første som møtte oss var gjester som klagde på maten. Sengen holdt på å falle sammen, og toalettet luktet skikkelig ille selv om det var ute under åpen himmel! kjente lukta inn på rommet... Personalet var hyggelig og grei service. turte ikke prøve maten. toalettet i resepsjonen var også ødelagt, noe de visste om men ikke ga beskjed om.

Great staff and service who looked after you. Issues with motorbikes with no brakes. They arranged free transport to other places to eat and are very helpful.

Sehr schöne Bungalows in ruhiger Lage
Die schönen Bungalows liegen ein bisschen abgelegen auf dem Hügel auf Nusa Lembongan. In ca. 15min wird man von der Bootsanlegestelle am Mushroom Beach mit einem Auto (falls man einen Platz im Speedboat gebucht hat) ins Poh Manis gebracht. Im Hotel kann man für 70'000IDR/Tag einen Roller mieten und damit diese und die Nachbarinsel erkundigen. Im Dunkeln ist die Strasse zum Hotel schon ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber wer schon sonst in Bali rumgefahren ist sollte auch diese Strasse gut meistern können. Wer nicht umbedingt in der Dunkelheit fahren will, kann sich Abends auch teilweise von den Restaurants abholen und wieder zurückbringen lassen. Auch Ausflüge und Charterboote nach Nusa Penida (~300'000IDR/Person) können ohne Probleme im Hotel gebucht werden. Der Pool ist so schön (oder sogar schöner) wie auf den Bildern und der Blick auf die Bucht und das Meer bei Sonnenaufgang (Sea View Bungalow) einfach atemberaubend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ist lecker.

位置太偏远
幸亏上岛坐的是私人快船把我们送去酒店，不然根本找不到。要下山必须坐车或者骑摩托，然后我们租摩托的时候问了一下里面的人如果让他们送我们下去再回来要多少钱，本来觉得应该免费，那个人竟然说要收50美元，最后还是我们骑车下的，路也不太好。不过后来的负责可能是老板人很好，最后把我们送去坐船的那边了。位置太偏远了。

Best place in Nusa Lembongan
We were really enjoying our time at Poh Manis. The first impression was that we were sort of like in a cabin at Finland. The atmosphere was really comfy and it was really quiet. Poh manis is situated away from the hustle, so if you don`t want to drive bad roads, stay at jungutbatu. The pool was amazing with even more amazing views. Bungalows were new and smelled nice. AC was good too. We are definetely goin back as soon as we can.

Wunderschönes,einfaches &ruhiges Paradies
Der Weg nach oben vom Strand dauert zwar etwas ... Es ist aber auf jeden Fall die Mühe wert. Ein kleines und ruhig gelegenes Paradies offenbart sich ihnen da oben. Sehr einfache aber schöne und große Bungalows mitten im Regenwald. Tolle Lage und Aussicht, sehr freundliches Familien betriebenes bed and breakfast könnte man sagen. Bei allen Fragen wird immer gute und ehrliche Auskunft gegeben. Ein Motorbike kann man direkt dort ausleihen ( gegen Aufpreis), sehr kaputte Straßen in der Gegend ... Sauberkeit könnte etwas besser sein... Und das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, dafür das Mittag und Abendessen das man direkt dort bestellen kann, sehr lecker und vielfältig. Aber man bekommt auf Jeden Fall einen tollen Einblick in eine balinesische ( wohl eher wohlhabendere) Familie. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert. Dieses Erlebnis Mittel in der Natur sollte man nicht missen!!

Hotel atypique et agreable
Hotel situé dans les montagnes, face a l ile de nusa penida. Au calme. Piscine avec une super vue . Les bungalows sont de petites tailles mais tres agreables : petite terrase, lit confortable avec moustiquaire, et salle de bain en plein air. Seuls bemol : la route pour y acceder un peu perilleuse, il faut savoir conduire un scooter et etre tres a l aise. Coupures d electricite frequentes (donc clim qui marche pas... Fait chaud ! ) c est le risQue sur les iles

Heerlijk voor een paar dagen rust.
Service, ligging en prijs-kwaliteit verhouding zijn perfect. Het ligt alleen 20min per scooter van mushroom Bay waar de boten aan komen. En de weg er naar toe is zeer slecht.

More of an 'eco-resort', but still nice
The hotel was a little more 'roughing it' than advertised. The walls of the room had very large gaps in them, the A/C could only keep up at night. During the day, the room was uninhabitable due to heat. Lots of ants on the floor and in the bed. The drive into town was long (20 minutes) on a very rough road. The staff was excellent, food was pretty good. Pool was great!

The hotel is a very far distance from everything on the island. It is a 10 minute ride by scooter to the nearest beach and 15 minutes to the "downtown" area of Lembongan. The roads that go up to the hotel are not even paved. Due to the poor condition of the roads leading up to the hotel it is extremely dangerous to use a scooter. Once the sun sets you are kind of stuck at the hotel unless you can get someone to drive you 20 minutes (longer by truck) to the nearest restaurant. The A/C does nothing to cool down the rooms and no free bottled water is provided.
