"Our stay was not long, but it was pleasant. The staff were lovely, helpful and had welcoming smiles. The room and hallways were up to date and clean. We were on the 11th floor. During our time there, it was quiet. We had a salad and sandwich for lunch from the bar and they both hit the spot. Good job at The George Manhattan."

"I have to state that there was a bit of confusion at the Wingate on my behalf,and I’m grateful to the staff that took my word and believed that I was not trying to be deceitful If I had to rate this hotel I would have to say that it was excellent! And customer service! My stay was great. The hotel looks absolutely amazing!. I will definitely recommend the Wingate Hotel located on Park Avenue right off 138th St. "

"Staff was friendly, seamless checkin, loved my capsule (1 in 6 bed). There is no elevator but I lucked out not having to climb the stairs. Bring in the capsule took getting used to (5 ft 5) not too narrow like twin bed size. It was convenient to the subway station but note C & B trains do not run late (B) not on weekends which I didn’t realize. Great for a quick overnight and would highly recommend. The hearing got noisy here and there through the night but I appreciated the clean, safe...

"Lovely hotel, incredibly convenient location, significantly roomier than your typical New York hotel. I was especially impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel throughout. Some of the decor is vintage but in a way that makes it feel cool and custom. "
