Zufällig war der Manager vor Ort (mit Baumschnitt beschäftigt) und wir konnten mit Ihm die Situation besprechen. Da er nicht mit unserer Ankunft gerechnet hatte, war das Appartement nicht geheizt (eiskalt) und Warmwasser war erst nach ca. 3 Stunden verfügbar. "This is a unique and special place. A little pricey, but worth it. This is a manor house built in 1795, with a wine cellar, and an indoor swimming pool also in the cellar. Just beautiful. We stayed on the top floor, with a round water bed, and skylights that look up to the stars. There is also an outdoor wooden infinity swimming pool with a jacuzzi corner. It's just an amazing feeling to be in a wooden swimming pool. Lovely breakfast. Wish we had been able to stay 2-3 days."

"These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday...

"All of the meals, the facilities, and the rooms here at the Hotel Arena are amazing! And its a 3 minute walk from the train station, direct from the Nice airport! (Yet there is no noise, because all trains are electric.) I have stayed here several times and I very highly recommend it. The grounds are lovely and blend historic culture, and reasonable prices with full amenities. I have moved to Frejus and now recommend this hotel for all of my guests."
