"Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Macon Georgia. The property/building is styled in mid century which makes it a destination in itself. The staff was very professional and very welcome when we arrived. We were earlier by several hours but immediately arranged for an early check and found us a room with no waiting. "The front door was blocked by trucks doing work. The first room we were given smelled like smoke. The second room we were given had the window open because someone burned popcorn in the room. Neither room had a tub and that was the reason I chose the hotel. The desk person checking us in was extremely excellent. The woman checking us out was rude. They refused to give us a discount because of no tub and the burnt smell. We will never stay at this hotel again. I paid $180.00 to stay for 1 night. "
