I honestly would pass if you have another comparable option. My experience wasn’t great, unfortunately.
It started off with having to wait over 15 minutes to check in. No big deal, really, but that was the start to the odd experience as the nice lady at the counter seemed overwhelmed. Upon getting my room key, I went straight to my room. After trying for 10 minutes to get my key to work, it finally did. I thought for sure I’d have to ask for help.
I ate my take out food, showered and was in bed by 9pm. After having driven for 10.5 hours straight, I was exhausted.
Much to my surprise, I awoke at 9:45pm with someone trying to get into my room. I jumped up, checked the peep hole, and saw a woman and her family trying to get in. I opened the door and they were so apologetic and embarrassed.
After the adrenaline rush, I fell back asleep around 11:00pm.
Once again, at 11:45, I awoke to someone else trying to get into my room. Same drill, but this time, it was a woman and her husband…equally embarrassed and apologetic. What was curious was the man showed me his key card and sure enough, my room number (219 for those interested) was written on it. As with the other family, I tried to help ease their embarrassment and told them it was ok!
Back to bed again, and it was about 30 minutes later that the hotel room phone rang.
It was the front desk trying to figure out who I was….at midnight. He looked my name up couAfter 15 minutes on the phone with the very nice and apologetic man, he
