The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back.

The room was clean and cool on a very hot weekend. Staff was great in every way. Had Saturday morning brunch which was delicious and bountiful. You get a special feeling staying in a place that dates to 1815. Next time I'm in Frankfort overnight, it will be the Ashbrook!

We loved staying here! The staff is absolutely lovely. The property is so charming and full of history. Only downside, since it's a historical building, there's no elevator and will have to take luggages up a flight of stairs. But still recommend staying since it's still a very nice experience.

The Ashbrook is a lively historic home repurposed as a boutique hotel. Our double queen suite was simply, but beautifully furnished and included a comfortable sitting room. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. There was plenty to do in downtown Frankfort with restaurants, shopping and historic sites just a short walk away. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bar with special food and drink offerings that reflect the unique character of Kentucky's Capital City. Highly recommend!

This charming Hotel was a perfect stay!! Great location in historical cutest Frankfort downtown! Everyone at the hotel are super friendly!! Thank you to entire staff to make my husband’s birthday trip so memorable! Hands down to Chef for amazing menu!!

The room was clean and super cute. We did not have a mini fridge, only a little coffee maker, which kinda sucked. The room I got was next to the kitchen and you could hear everything on the outside of the room and people who work there walking in and out of that door. Didn’t feel like I had much privacy.

Room was clean-ish. Getting to the room was incredibly interesting. We shared a wall with the kitchen which made for early morning. There was also junk at the door way between our corridor. Small things like no body mirrors, limited outlets, only one nightstand made the stay nor as enjoyable. Loved the vintage vibe and the styling of the hotel and the location

Staff was very friendly, called and confirmed my booking and they upgraded my room for free. Atmosphere was awesome and the restaurant downstairs had delicious food. Wish I was staying longer so I could explore all the little nooks and crannies of this place. Will be staying here again. If you like the classic southern Kentucky feel this is the place to go.
