"Chef Mimi was fab-o. The room had a heated towel rack in tbe bathroom, which was priceless in the Venetian humidity. We needed no alarm clock because of the rooster next door, who did not crow until an agreeable hour. The lady behind the front desk was genuinely friendly and the neighborhood was charming. The bed sloped downwards toward the headboard and that was about our only trouble. I'definitely stay tjere again. The breakfasts were fabulous."

"Hotel was lovely, room was great just the bathroom/ shower shelf missing/Broken meaning all shower stuff had to be left on the floor. Breakfast was great not full English but scrambled eggs,bacon and all the usual continental and cereals. Served with fresh coffee or tea. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and away from the madness and costs of Venice island. Handy for the actv waterbus 5-10 mins walk would definitely go back"

"Nós amamos o hotel. O fato dele ser antigo é exatamente o charme dele, parece cazinha de vó, super aconchegante e acolhedora. Bem localizado na ilha de Lido próximo ao ponto de parada do vaporetto (iamos e voltavamos apé) e uns 10 minutinhos de Veneza. Como estavamos de carro, foi ótimo porque viemos de ferryboat e conseguimos estacionar do lado hotel (ruas com bastante vaga e seguras). O café da manhã foi perfeito e super valeu os 10 euros. O atendimento foi impecável, todos muito gentis e...

"We found Hotel Rigel to be an excellent choice for our 5 nights. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the waterbus stop on Lido on a quiet road. Our room was comfortable and very clean with some interesting touches of Venetian style. As promised by the reviews, the breakfast was a generous spread of fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, rolls, croissants, cereals, nuts, eggs, salad and a tempting array of biscuits, cake and tarts.
