"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. He offered to have our rental car company call him, since our Italian is terrible and we didn’t know where we were! "Alvica is a true hidden gem in Puglia! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were amazed by this place. Marco and his whole family were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful and ideally located for exploring many of Puglia’s traditional villages and towns. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable, the rooms have air conditioning , and the swimming pool is superb. We absolutely loved our stay at Alvica and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Puglia. We would definitely come back! 🇮🇹❤️"

"We had a fantastic family stay at this beautiful and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puglia. We stayed in a spacious family room with two separate bedrooms, which was perfect for us. The room was stylish, spotless, and very comfortable, with exceptionally comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep.Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds were beautifully made, fresh towels were provided daily, and complimentary bottled water was replenished each day. The attention to detail was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality food and excellent coffee. The breakfast room was elegant and welcoming, making it a lovely way to start each morning. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere and a stunning lobby where we enjoyed unwinding after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for discovering the beauty of Puglia. We easily visited Oria, Ostuni, Francavilla Fontana, Gallipoli, Nardò, and several stunning beaches, within a short drive. "Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe "
