I'm slightly tall (6' / 182cm) and the sitting situation was just quite uncomfortable if you are spending time in the apartment. This might be ok for a normal hotel but when the hotel is in the middle of a mountain, only accessible by a 2.5 hour hike (or a tiny train that is on strike - it’s France after all) then it is simply unacceptable to let your guests arrive at the door tired, hungry & thirsty to see a sign that says ‘sorry we’re closed, we tried to contact you’. This hotel was in a very good location and had a nice sized room with views of the mountains (although also right on the parking lot and another hotel so not super private). It is a cozy, lovely place- I imagine really nice in the winter. The entire place is a little run down- old carpets in the halls, and old, outdated feel. I found this charming, but also recognize some people may not like the rustic cozy feel."

"The staff were amazing. We hiked the TMB and were able to leave our bags with the concierge. The apartment suites had high end appliances and were amazingly functional and comfortable. The spa was delightful and very clean."
