"You basically get what you pay for with this property. The property is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the nearest town. It has not aged well as poor maintenance has resulted in a dated appearance. It must have been pretty spectacular when it was newly constructed (some 25 years ago). The staff on site were nice enough, however, phone contact was impossible. The desks were unmanned after 9pm so good luck if you need something. "Gamboa Rainforest Reserve was an excellent place to stay and experience the wonders of the rainforest in Panama. Rooms were very clean and had all amenities as advertised. Pool was an excellent oasis after walks or fishing on the lake. Meals and customer service were also very good and many options were available."

My friend was visiting from the United States and does not have a great impression after sleeping in a bed that sunk in.
