"The hotel is all about the location and the surroundings. If that’s what you’re in the area for (sightseeing, short stop off etc) then the hotel is fine and does exactly what it needs to. As a hotel in isolation, it’s a little tired, a touch antiquated (some might say Italy of old and like this feature) and underwhelming considering the absurdity of the beauty it looks out on to. Well worth paying for a room with balcony and lake view though. Amri was very helpful staff member, great guy, other...

"Wonderful stay. The view was phenomenal and the breakfast delicious. For awareness, the check in does close a little early and most of the rooms are only accessible via stairs. The parking was good and the room very nice. We would stay here again! "

"Enjoyable stay, staff were great with the exception of one whom we found miserable and a little rude. The driveway was steep so bare that in mind as the walk up to the hotel could be taxing for an older person. We had booked a luxury room with a panoramic view of the lake, perfect with one exception, there was a tea and coffee machine, but if you wanted to use them you had to pay extra, for what we paid for this room, it was a little cheeky. We ate in the hotel for the first three nights but...
