"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. "Rooms simple, but clean and comfy beds. Location is fantastic and the breakfast very good. Hotel has a rather clinical / industrial feel throughout. Swimming pool on the top floor is good, however I would avoid the park spa (I am not sure the masseuse are formally trained). I understand the Thai massage on the ground floor is a better choice. "Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."
