"We really enjoyed staying there! Its our 21 years anniversary and we really enjoyed to walk, visit, and eat in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather area! I would recommend anyone to stay there!"

"Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area."

"The price was reasonable for the room. I appreciate the wood laminate flooring, which seems much cleaner than carpeting. We appreciated the new decorative tile accents also. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the window coverings though. There was no sheer curtain to partially let in light, and only a very thick black curtain, which was full of little tiny holes. Otherwise, the property was convenient and acceptable. Also, a little Manuel with area, restaurants, and television directions...

"Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. "2 Nice gas fire pits with ample seating and chairs on porch. Clean and nostalgic but recently renovated bathrooms and rooms. A one minute walk and you are on the main strip of down town blowing rock, 4 - 5 min walk to Kilwins and center of Main Street."
