"We did a one night stop driving in and parking is at a premium on the street. Very high quality as new condition place with some English but not much.
Be carefully when booking the rooms they have 4 and it looked like some are shared bathroom ,the one we had appeared private but could be accessed from the shared breakfast area . Happy to stay again as long as we are fit enough to climb stairs off the street to the rooms."

The hottub was empty sitting by my room, so unable to use that. There were also no staff in the afternoons or evenings when I was there, so I could not enjoy the bar aspect of the outdoor dining area. "This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra."

"We spent 1 night on Vulcano in the really nice Pensione La Giara. It is conveniently situated on a relatively quiet street on a little over 5 min walk from the port, and on route to the path ascending to the vulcano.
We were in two neighbouring bedrooms with shared bathroom for both rooms, which was perfect for our family of four.
The owner on arrival advised on the trip up the vulcano and on nearby restaurants.
