"It was fine overall, conveniently located to the zoo and bus stop. The breakfast was good as was the coffee. The room we had was on the smaller side and not recently renovated, but everything worked and seemed clean. We had one quite old grey towel initially, but most of the other ones were acceptable. The pool was nice and the lawn around it was great for kids to meet other kids and run around. The portuguese steak sandwiches and aperols were great as were the "cookies" you get with your drinks in the tapas bar. They also accommodated a slightly later checkout for us. There's a restaurant Carvailo something down the hill to the left of the hotel that was very good, amazing grilled octopus and fish."
