"I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. The carpets were thread bear in places and had tape over some of the larger holes. The floors were very uneven to walk over. The furniture was very dated. The bedroom door was just a lightweight internal door, and not a fire rated...

Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. "Hotel was clean and well maintained. Lovely grounds. Doesn’t have air conditioning but fans are provided. We had an issue as had booked twin rooms which I confirmed over 3 phone call but was assigned double rooms which the hotel did rectify but couldn’t done with out the hassle. Make sure you have written confirmation if you require twin rooms. Otherwise all good."

"The host was very kind and helpful. The room was small for three people, and hot. It was right on the road so we had to keep the window closed all night. Perhaps an upstairs room would be more comfortable. The stay was certainly fine, but quite simple/basic."

Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."
