"This is a gorgeous property, overlooking one of the most scenic spots along the Mendocino coast. The rooms are cozy and romantic, and our sunset room had the most incredible deck with a view over the ocean. They went above and beyond in a busy holiday weekend, we had to split the stay over 2 different rooms since there was no availability of the same room for all days at time of booking; however once on the property they managed to let us stay in the same room without having to check out and...

"We had such a wonderful time here. The Briar Rose room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the fireplace, balcony views and fresh breakfast brought to our room in the morning. Seeing the llamas and feeding the chickens were fun additions. The service was fantastic as well. Finally, we really enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant, Terra. This was an easy 10/10 and we will absolutely stay there again."

"Our stay at this boutique hotel was exactly what we needed — quiet, relaxing, and full of small coastal charms. The property offers lovely sprinkled ocean views throughout, giving us just the right touch of seaside atmosphere without being right on the beach. Self check-in was incredibly easy and made arrival stress-free. Everything was clear, and we felt welcomed even without onsite staff. "It has a lot of charm but sadly we made a fire in the fireplace and made sure the flue was open but still the room was filled with smoke even with the door open the smoke alarm went off. Also the refrigerator didn't work. I am sure this is not typically the case, but Sweetwater resort never got back to me when I emailed them regarding these matters."
