"The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!"

"Unfortunately this hotel has become a haven for dog owners which is ok if you own a dog.
The room we got allocated on arrival smelled of wet dog and I immediately went to reception to get a change of room.
We got a new room which was slightly better but every floor had dogs staying in rooms.
Unfortunately although I have owned dogs in the past it isn’t for me and will not be staying again."

"Great location right in the city center, making it very convenient for exploring the area. "Hotel nice but rooms outdated and very tired looking, especially the bathroom. Main entrance door to hotel not working and carpet upon entry very grubby.Seemed to be maintenance going on on the top floor and one lift out of service. "Hotel is run down and in a poor state. Only interaction I had with staff was on check in and check out and nothing bad to say about the staff, although the maid continually knocked on our door one morning saying “house keeping” “house keeping” at about 08:00am which I was not impressed about being as we were checking out before 11 (check out time) anyway.
Unless you get a bargain don’t bother."

"Didn’t like being allocated a room for the disabled with an adjoining door, on the ground floor. Not what we paid for. Were then offered an attic room with a skylight type window, you couldn’t see out and it was dark. They then managed to jiggle things around and we had a decent room, the sort we expected. Didn’t use most of the facilities as we were there for a wedding near by but we did eat in the bar area. Food menu was limited and so were the cocktail choices. Don’t know about the restaurant...

"A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality.
I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment.

"This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms were very well presented and clean. The breakfast was great, with plenty of scrambled eggs, beans, bacon or sausage, toast, croissants, fruit and yoghurt. The coffee machine is accessible all day.
Plenty of parking if not busy but fills quickly so get there early.
Do wish that hotels would leave the smart functions operational on the room TVs so guests can access their Netflix accounts!"
