"Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side...

"Excellent check in and greeting from reception. Room was adequate, if stuck in the 80’s but shower pressure was dreadful. Also shower is over the bath so be aware of this if you have mobility issues. Parking is good but a 24 hour fee of £5 has been introduced, partly redeemable at the hotel bar. Breakfast was good"

"This is an old building, so don't expect sparkling rooms, but the rooms still meet modern standards! Bed was comfy, room was nice, breakfast was nice, location right in the town center, staff were pleasant. Small picky things... Sash windows (normal on older buildings) had several cracks, toilet and bathroom were separate rooms and there was no sink in the toilet. Mostly good though and I was very happy with my stay!"

The hotel was immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful and the free hour each day in the gym and spar was super. The main highlight though was the beautiful views of the bay from the dinning area even on a cloudy day!"

The restaurant downstairs had a magnificent seaview though, so having a meal there would certainly be nice. It definitely is value-for-money, and made for a very nice stay."
