"Lovely oldy worldy pub accomodation in a lovely setting right next to the river and in a small quaint village. Great Pizzas and breakfast. Very cosy. Rooms quite small but comfy beds. Would return."
"The rooms are in the roof space so have Velux windows were all you can see is the sky when there are some lovely views to be had of the surrounding countryside.
The breakfast was good as were the meals we had in the evening.
All the staff were excellent , it's a shame it is a bit out of the way."
"A very nice hotel with lots of character and quirky features. It is ideally located next to the gorge walk and has a few tables outside on the pavement to make the most of the views. We had a room at the top of the hotel with a comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. The staff are young and enthusiastic but lack leadership as witnessed in the dining room. They were disorganised and seemed rather lost. The food at dinner was fairly average but perfectly acceptable."
"Our only complaint was that we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all that was available. The accommodation was great (we stayed in a lodge), the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was great (Sunday roast buffet highly recommended), room was clean and well maintained and the bar and gardens were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again if we're in the area"
"The hotel is amazing inside and out and fully recommend a stay at this beautiful period property. All the staff are polite and cheerful and are happy to help with anything you need"
"It was a very hot day. The room was small but they did what they could to reduce the heat curtains were shut fan was on bar having air con they had tried. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was the best thing continental and hot offer good menu. Booked a table for Sunday evening good menu. Had a Sunday roast very nice. All in all a good stay. Parking is at the back of the hotel which has a different post code."
