"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "This hotel was great for a couple of nights in Aberystwyth. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Beds were comfy.Food was great with the cooked breakfast being done to order; nice change. Plus the usual cereal/ croissant buffet for those that don't like cooked.Parking out front is restricted to just 4 hours from 8am - 8pm but we found it useful to park in the unrestricted parking in the street at the back of the hotel.You can access this st via the rear entrance of the hotel. Just a short walk away is the famous cliff railway which is well worth an experience. I recommend this hotel for a few nights in Aberystwyth."

"Thank you to Heather, she was kind and helpful and responded to requests quickly We were not disturbed by the night club since it was out of season and a Monday night. Room was good value for money. It could probably benefit from a lick of paint and the mattress was a little uncomfortable, but okay for 1 night."
