Lots of space, character, and stairs

Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor bedroom is huge and worked great for our kids and their baby. Location in town is phenomenal. It is a bit funky and eclectic, but it worked for us.

Love the house.

Very nice large property, excellent bedrooms. Great view from garden overlooking the river. Everything is in the property you need except an ice cube maker, and garden needs a little tidy .

Perfect stay in a perfect house

We booked the whole house for 2 nights and we had high expectations based on reviews and the website - and we were not disappointed! The property is simply stunning, from the way it's furnished, equipped and maintained and the location is perfect - in the middle of town but not overlooked, and backing onto the river. We ended up eating in both nights because eating out in the garden was so perfect and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. And we really appreciated extra little touches like providing ice in the freezer, a dog towel, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, hair straighteners etc etc. They have thought of everything! Communication with the owners was brilliant too. We had to change our booking and they were so accommodating and responded to questions promptly and positively, both beforehand and during our stay. Strongly recommended!

This B&B was exceptional the owner had thought of everything you could possibly want in the room. I would highly recommend this guesthouse. A fabulous break away.

Wow.

We stayed here for the evening in the castle room, wow is all I could say. The room was amazing and the staff were very friendly and pleasant and made our stay that extra bit special. Would highly recommend this for a lovely weekend away with your loved one.

A wonderful night

A lovely guesthouse in the heart of Llangollen. Stayed in the River Room which was absolutely stunning. The bathroom was phenomenal and the view over the river was breathtaking. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The location is right in the heart of Llangollen with excellent access to local amenities.

Unterbringung in einem Haus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert... mit Charme und allem Komfort ! Nun... dass man die Schuhe unten ausziehen musste war gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber letztendlich kein Problem. Das Frühstück sollte 15 Minuten vor dem Erscheinen im Frühstücksraum telefonisch geordert werden.... und wurde nach Wunsch frisch serviert.

SIMPLY FANTASTIC

Simply fantastic ! What can we say apart from Very welcoming from start to finish of the stay. Carol and the Staff were Friendly, caring, cheerful and very helpful though out our stay , nothing was to much trouble. It was very clean though out the Rooms were just. Fantastic you don’t need to take anything but your toothbrush. When it says luxury that’s what you get . The only down side was we were told that Carol was selling up so if who ever takes it over can keep up the high standards that Carol and the Staff have set . Carol even went out her way to help me with my disability I have with eating solid foods as I’ve had throat cancer. And all I can say is Thank you so much , it doesn’t happen everywhere I go but for Carol just to help from day one without even asking was hart warming and very kind indeed. Thanks again for such a fantastic stay and hopefully we can return before you sell up .

Cornerstones is a lovely small B&B in the centre of Llangollen. Breakfast was good and our room was nice though we thought it was on the small side. Nothing at all to complain about only the price!!!

Visiting Wales great start

We loved our stay .Great location ,nice room with lovely extras from sweets in a bowl to toiletries. Room facing a quiet street . Easy walking to Main Street the beautiful river steam train corn mill . Weather very warm .

Great location, Great accommodation

Two nights at superb 5* B& B. And it is 5*. Only three rooms in a former Inn. Brilliant comfort and breakfast. Right in centre and parking included. Space, comfort clean and ALL the extras you get in a 5* hotel. Yes, we liked it very much.

A hidden gem!

Beautiful B & B hidden away in the middle of the town, overlooking the river. It only has 3 rooms, but this means the owners give MASSIVE attention to detail. How many hotels / B & Bs can you go to where there are complimentary razors / shaving foam / hairspray / DVDs / wine cooler in every room? Super comfy beds and breakfast cooked to order. Just wonderful!
