"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "Spotlessly clean room. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Bed extremely comfortable, Breakfast very good choice and tasty. If we have one criticism it’s that the room was small and the bathroom large but we understand the hosts will be rectifying that."

"Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains."

"Lovely clean room with a great sea view! The shower cubicle was very small (my OH is quite a big chap so it was a squeeze, but he managed)! Really comfortable bed; had the best sleep in ages! Great food and service. The hotel is quite central so a great base for exploring the coastal walks. Would definitely recommend."

We needed a night away after a stressful week and Gerogie was so considerate and warm and couldnt do enough to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Tea and coffee available, use of kitchen facilities, lovely hot tub, communal but good fun to get to know other guests. Food is abiut a 10-15 minute drive away, can recommend Poons Street food "
