My wife wanted to sleep in a trulli and this hotel was a good choice The food was good and there were opportunities for leisure facilities with a great pool and cooking lessons.

The property was gorgeous and serene with beautiful landscaping and quiet paths. My favorite thing was the VERY warm outdoor pool with jacuzzi jets and the sumptuous breakfast which included gluten free options for me. We had a lovely time speaking with the granddaughter of the founder of the estate and as she took us around the property she pointed out various plants and herbs. Be sure to take home a bottle of their olive oil! It's phenomenal!

Our stay at Leonardo Trulli was incredible. As part of our honeymoon, we ventured to Puglia and WOW ... what a surprise experienced. We didn't know what to expect but we had the most amazing time at this resort. From our arrival to our departure, the entire team treated us like family. Alessia was so kind and helpful with everything we needed (including going out of her way to help us with our broken rental car!). We took part in the cooking class and it was a great experience ... although we preferred eating the chef's cooking instead of ours. :) Every meal we had (and we had breakfast, lunch, and multiple dinners) was better than the last, which I didn't think was possible. Leone was the kindest person we have ever met and I will remember him and his amazing wine recommendations always. The property itself was one of the best I've seen. The pool was beautiful, the rooms were large, beds comfortable and very clean. We ventured into town via bike, which was great, but we enjoyed being at the resort even more! This was such a magical place and we will absolutely be back.

This really is a beautiful property. I will say, it was very busy with multiple parties occurring simultaneously. It seemed that the staff was stretched thin, and focused on the events rather than the guests. The spa was wonderful and so were the misuses. The availability to take a bike to town was nice, however they were dated and the seats were very uncomfortable. A bike seat pad would do wonders. This was also the first hotel we have stayed at in Italy that didn't have a water bottle in the room to use, daily. This would be nice so people can wake up and take a drink of water with their medications.

Schöne Anlage, nicht ganz günstig

Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, aber die Bilder sagen die Wahrheit. Sehr gut ausgestattet und alle sind sehr freundlich (wie eigentlich überall in Süditalien). Der Preis ist allerdings auch dementsprechend, was aber nachzuvollziehen ist. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb von der Stadt, wenn auch nicht sehr weit. Aber man muss schon das Auto nach Locorotondo nehmen (ca. 7 Minuten).

Te duur voor wat het is

Het resort klonk veelbelovend maar stelde wel wat teleur... Er wordt gesteld dat alle trulli een privé terras hebben met lounge zetels en buitendouche maar dat is niet zo. Toen we hier naar vroegen kregen we te horen dat elke trulli uniek is en dat dus niet het geval is. Onze trulli was mooi maar je krijgt amper 2 mini flesjes zeep en shampoo voor 3 dagen en die worden niet aangevuld. De douche lekte en dat wisten ze want daarom kregen we een extra groot badmatje.... Het eten is er erg lekker maar duur zeker in vergelijking met plaatselijke restaurants die even lekker maar super goedkoop eten serveren. Het was een uniek verblijf maar veel te duur voor wat het was.... Voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar....

Tolle, sehr gepflegte Anlage - Luxusmässig! Super Koch und alles um das Restaurant herum spitze, sehr gute Weinempfehlungen zum Menü. Wohnzimmer war eine überdachte Veranda. Für den hochpreisigen Ansatz war nicht alles perfekt, hier gibt es noch Luft nach oben.

Beautiful property in country, with renovated trulli houses. The rooms are beautiful, but seem a little dark and tight as trulli houses. Great pool. In the country just outside Locorotondo, a beautiful little hilltop town.

Great location, beautiful setting

Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff are very attentive,friendly,knowledgeable We felt like part of the family. Dinners are amazing ,very talented chef ,using produce which is locally grown. We were able to easily get to Locorotundo, Alberobella,sea side towns,Martina Franca,Matera. Highly recommend a stay here. Trulli rooms charming as are regular rooms.

Homey, beautiful place to stay.

Staying at Leonardo was a highlight of our vacation. Rosalba and her staff made us feel like family. The rooms are cozy and pretty. The property is lovely. Rosalba arranged an excellent vineyard tour and meeting with a cheesemaker. The cooking lesson and dinners on the premise were fun. Food for breakfast and dinners was interesting and excellent. Overall highly recommended.

We werden supervriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen door Rosalba. Ze had ons geholpen aan een fantastische restaurant suggestie en bracht ons zelfs door alle kleine straatjes en steegjes naar het restaurant. Het ontbijt bij Leonardo was fantastisch en de kamer prachtig. echt top!!

Very warm welcome. Super staff! Fantastic diner and breakfast. Food all organic from their own garden. Cosy and clean Trullo room. Nice pool area.
