"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Parking was plentiful and well lit. The hotel is located in a prime spot with lots of food and shopping options. The property is older and this is evident in the rooms, such as cracks and missing grout. The pool is not heated and was very cold."

"Nothing but good things to say! The check in/check out process was easy, the buffet breakfast each morning was awesome, parking is simple, and the room was well cared for! They actually do housekeeping which is extremely appreciated. Overall fantastic experience!!"

"Great location in downtown area short walk to UVA. Our room was cheerful and very clean. Enjoyed the vibe of pop mod decor and the occasional rumble of train behind the property. No parking on site but space to unload and reload vehicle just on front. The parking garage is just at corner across from hotel at additional cost of $20 day. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches or wraps conveniently located at food truck on property. Check maps online for pubs/restaurants and locations nearby."
