I was a little worried after seeing some reviews but the hotel was really nice, it's a little dated but nothing major, room was nice and clean, warm and the hotel was quiet. My room was on the top floor. Bathroom was nice as well. Overall no complaints, very friendly staff also.

Chambre très petite Beaucoup de bruits autour notamment dans la chambre voisine La vmc de la salle de bain fait un bruit d’aspirateur La douche fonctionne mal, gros problème de pression et de température Litterie plutôt confortable Les serviettes sont changées tous les jours, c’est appréciable Le personnel est agreable Suffisant pour y dormir quand on part tôt le matin et qu’on revient le soir

I booked this as it was cheap and I needed an overnight stay near Kings Cross. I knew there was no elevator so that wasn't an issue and in any event had no luggage. However, the room and associated bathroom were very small; that it itself wasn't a problem, but the sink was very small and there was nowhere to put one's toilet bag. The bed was hard and so was the pillow. Plus I was subjected to the inane chatter of an oriental party in the adjacent room. However, at least they desisted at a reasonable hour. Had they been English speaking I may well have enjoyed their jokes. In the morning I sat on the bed and bent down to put my shoes on and hit my head on the shelf, causing a bump on my forehead- such is the size of the room! So my advise if you need a lift- don't book! If you want a comfortable bed- don't book, if you want a quiet nights sleep- don't book! The convenience to the major stations such as St Pancras, Kings Cross and to a lesser extent, Euston was the prime motive for me booking.

Hotel bastante mediocre, no volvería. La primera noche me despertaron gritos y gente corriendo. Es una casa antigua de varias plantas y se oye todo. La habitación era muy pequeña igual que el baño, aunque era relativamente nuevo. La limpieza no era muy buena, a partir de la segunda noche no limpiaban muy a fondo. Es muy bueno el detalle de dejar sobres de café y leche pero el hervidor de agua estaba lleno de cal. Creo el precio es superior a lo que ofrecen. Para no volver.

Fikk rom i kjelleren så det stinka mugg, men utenom det var det reint og ok senger. Alt i alt fornøyd med oppholdet. Anbefaler det ikke for mer enn to netter.

Do not recommend
Walls were paper thin. Sheets were dirty. Doorbell was going through the night. Conversations were loud on reception at 4 am. Very disappointed and didn’t feel safe there.

Needs a clean
Room we stayed in needed a good deep clean, under the beds were thick dust. Walls had marks all over them and holes in the bathroom door. We were only sleeping here for one night though. Would not stay again unfortunately.

The most basic and small room ever with the double bed pushed up against the side wall and the walls had mould on it. It also had a dangerous back door that opened up to steep steps without rails or lights that led down to a concrete slab and that door didn't lock. The shower was that small that we couldn't close the screen door. Do not book this hotel.

Good value for money
The room was basically clean, marks on walls and the kettle was a bit dusty. The gentleman on reception helped me upstairs with my case. Noon checkout would be good. Storage space good and lots of sockets.

The hotel is basic and could do with updating but perfectly adequate for my needs. The location is excellent for Kings Cross and Euston stations.

Really, the only thing that this property had going for it was the location (near the train station as we had an early morning train). The room was cramped and run down. The toilet seat was precarious. There was constant bright light and noise outside our window all night long. And, the price was higher than any other lodging we stayed at in the UK (all of which were nicer). We will not be repeat customers.

En résumé, a éviter.
Hôtel basique et vieillissant. Chambre pour 4 très décevante (salle d'eau minuscule, pas de place pour poser les valises). Service catastrophique, même pas moyen d'avoir 1 serviette par personne. Le personnel fait du bruit la nuit, donc difficile de se reposer. Seul avantage = proche de la gare.

If I knew how bad this place was before I booked it I would never have considered it as a option. The only attraction was location. When revisiting my options in the area for only a few dollars for there where so many better hotels. Probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in all my years of travel. When we asked to change rooms, we we told there was no options. This was a lie as we showed them the Expedia site. They reluctantly change our room eventually after much drama.

We stayed here just for one night and arrived late at night. If we will be alone and not with tired kids we would leave right away. The room was underground, extremely small and felt unsafe so we actually blocked the door with suitcases. The four of us weren’t able to stand in the room with our two carry on suitcases due to lack of space. I cannot imagine how it supposed to fit four adults with bags.

Worst hotel I have stayed at in London
This place is awful. No idea how the rating is a high as it is. My room was a converted section of the rear entrance. The window was an old PVC door with holes in it. The walls and ceiling had damp yet the room was baking as there was no AC.

No water.
Towels were rendered pointless as the taps and shower didnt work. (Room 15) £130 for a room without working facilities is a bit steep, denied any refund too.
