Embassy visit
We only stayed one night. We decided to stay for dinner. Good offers on the menu and a free drink from the bar. Dinner was good. We had a double bed and a single. The room, ensuite, towels and bedding were very clean. The towels were a good size with free shamppo, conditioner and shower gel.All the staff were very kind and helpful. The day manager Michelle was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Convenient location for the US embassy, just 12 minutes walk.

We had the perfect stay here, owner and staff were all so friendly and we loved the vibe of the pub. The stay was great value for money considering the location, rooms and breakfast included. Only 4 stars because there really isn’t much available for vegans like myself, I hope they invest in some plant-based options in the future. In any case, I’ll definitely be back next time I stay in London!

The good: convenient location; friendly staff; clean and well-presented; nice little sports-bar / restaurant downstairs. The bad: someone got a bit greedy when laying out the rooms. Mine would have been small for a single; for a double it was a damn postage stamp. No horizontal storage space - cupboard, drawer or even a chair - because there wasn't room for it. Also a garret room, so being 6'4" I had to lean to use the toilet and limbo to use the shower. That last could have been compensated for by good water pressure or a handheld shower head. It wasn't. Basically, if they say they only have one room left... they actually have half a room. Make your decisions accordingly.

Sleeping above a Pub is always a good idea if you do not want to stress yourself when it comes to where to have dinner or the final beer of the day. The room was tiny (but that's what we booked so no complaints here), and syper tidy and clean. Staff is amazing there! So very nice, extraordinarily helpful and super friendly. Food also was really good. Absolute recommendation!

I had requested a twin room when making the booking. However when we arrived we were told our room had a king bed in it. I informed the staff members that this would not work for us (I was travelling with my daughter). This was at once rectified. We had a very happy stay. Thank to all the members of staff.

The room we stayed in was way too small, I know it's classed as a small double but this was ridiculous. It's definitely a single room with a small double bed in. You couldn't move around the bed without shuffling sideways. No room for the suitcase, had to open on the bed to get things out. Hardly any room to put belongings without walking into them or knocking stuff over. Also the bathroom, no where to even put our toothbrushes or anything, we could sit on the toilet and brush our teeth at the same time the sink was that close to you, you had to be careful sitting on the loo if you bent forward in the slightest you'd bang your head on the sink. Also the breakfast, everything on the plate was only slightly warm !! The food should be probed before serving because the whole breakfast was honestly near on cold.. chef need's to up his game !!! Very disappointed with what we got for the price we paid. I've never stayed in a room so small and cramped and we travel often 👎👎👎

The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included (and everything you could ask for) and staff was nice enough to give us a “take away” breakfast one morning when we had an early tour. We stayed there during a horrendous heat wave in September and being an older building there was no air conditioning or elevators but that was no one’s fault.

Extremely friendly staff and nice location. Room was very small which was fine, but no air conditioner and if the window was open it was very loud in the morning when the school opened. In summer it could be very hot in the room.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was quirky but has a nice vibe. The location isn’t right next to all the main tourist spots so keep that in mind. There is an underground station very nearby. We arrived when it was very warm so we had a bit of an issue cooling off at night.

The staff are very friendly, great atmosphere and handy to get get too many places. Breakfast was very good and all rooms modern and well equipped. Only issue is the room was very small, the ensuite was not laid out well as it was awkward to use the toilet. The room we had was advertised as Superior but looked like a classic with a 2ft gap all round the bed. Apart form the size of trhe room and ensuite all other aspect of the stay were very good

Definitely one of the most beautiful and typical!
Definitely one of the most beautiful and typical hotels in London! This hotel will surprise you with the courtesy and kindness that the staff dedicates to its guests. The breakfast is excellent, both the continental one with croissants and hot pastries and the local one with the great classics. The rooms are comfortable and the beds very soft! the perfect shower and impeccable cleanliness!!

Perfect stay
We had a fantastic one night stay. Great service throughout the stay. Very comfortable and clean room. Excellent choice for breakfast - continental or cooked. So close to Vauxhall and Nine Elms tube stops. You can be in the West End in 15 minutes but the hotel is in a quiet location. We will stay here again when stay. Cannot recommended enough.

Had a lovely stay here. Great pub, good food and a nice room. The double bed was a bit of a tight fit in the room but other than that, everything about our stay was first class.

A cute boutique-style hotel. Room was small but comfortable, and bathroom was lovely. Great access to the pub/restaurant downstairs. Staff were very helpful, especially the young lady who tried to book us a taxi/Uber to Gatwick due to train strike.

After a super-easy journey and a very short walk from Vauxhall underground station, from the moment I stepped into the building, I was made to feel very welcome. Mark warmly greeted me and took time to speak with me and help with planning my movement around London. He saved me a lot of time and effort, applying his local knowledge. With two stations under 10mins walk, an excellent breakfast selection, a well stocked bar, a very clean room and the most polite and friendly staff, I'll definitely take every opportunity to stay at the Griffin Belle Hotel again.
