"Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location."

"The room was fine, comfy beds, the towels were the best we’ve ever had anywhere, but the bathroom was not the best. Everything was so low (toilet and sink area). Another update that should be made is more outlets for people’s phones and watches. It was difficult to find a plug close to the bed so I could see the time and use my alarm. The outlet my watch was plugged into, did not hold the cord and my watch was not charged this morning. Otherwise, it was a fine room."

"We had a great stay with our young children. We stayed in early summer. There were lots of outdoor trails for us to take advantage of during the day. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and met all of our needs. We hope to be back!"

"This was such a disappointment! My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary as we stayed there about 30 years ago and loved it!! My wife wanted to go again. I was skeptical as I saw the reviews were not the greatest and the price was a lot cheaper than it once was. I told my wife that we may not want to go but she insisted. The reviews were being nice! "This was our second time staying here and it never disappoints! I booked this trip during our kids' spring break for a quick getaway and to use the amazing heated outdoor pool. It's a great location convenient to all the amazing sites Vermont has to offer. Would love to go back again in the fall!"
