I was very impressed with the room decor, cleaniness, nice fresh smell in room, and I would stay here again without question. Only thing, make sure you use a GPS to get there as it would be a little difficult to find on your own. EXCELLENT STAY!

Property is a mile down from all of the action which is perfect. Nice and quiet place to stay. Even quiet during the day for a mid day nap! Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect choice for an impromptu beach getaway

This was our 2nd stay at the Mermaid Inn. It's perfect for our travel style, having enough amenities in a convenient location at a good price. The landscaping and outside gathering area around the grill are bonuses, as is the friendly house dog. If I was to nit-pick, it would be to wish they would ditch the single use bathroom toiletries in favor of bulk dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion to be more eco-friendly.

My family and I had a great experience with The Mermaid Inn. We appreciated the small town atmosphere and how kind the staff was. Effortless check-in and out. The only suggestion I would give is to leave some direction for the “Airbnb” as we weren’t sure what we should have done before leaving the home. For example, strip the beds, throw towels in the washing machine, etc.

This was a wonderful property! Everything was clean and uniquely fabulous! Each room has a wonderful little patio, really beautiful community space! The room was small, and contained everything needed for a great stay. You would need to drive to go into Long Beach town - It's about a mile or so down the road. There is a cute little bar and grill right next door, as well as a Mexican restaurant. The bar and grill was great! I will stay here again without hesitation!

Staff was very friendly. Room was okay. The room had a damp feeling and smell, and carpet felt damp too, owner said it was due to humidity, but other places we have stayed on the peninsula didnt have this issue. I did love the retro fridge, mircowace, and alarm clock.
