"The Bowline was genuinely beautiful. The room was great, and the balcony view of the river was so peaceful. The in-room bathtub was perfect for relaxing, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The fireplace is controlled by the thermostat, which made it really easy to turn on and made the room feel extra cozy.
My only slight confusion was the “resort fee.” It’s only $15, but this definitely isn’t a traditional resort with a pool, gym, spa, etc. That said, there is a barrel sauna on one end of the property, so I’m guessing that may be what the fee goes toward. The room also comes with a refillable carafe of water that you can refill near the bar area.
The breakfast/restaurant area is pretty small, so I’d recommend exploring some of the nearby cafes instead. Also, some reviews mentioned noise, but that wasn’t my experience at all. The whole place felt calm, quiet, and really serene."
