"I didn't realise we were staying in a brand new little townhouse! It was great. Only negatives: 1. Wifi was really weak. 2. The dishwasher didn't work. We called the 24hr hotline (there'sno receptio), a bit after lunch on a Monday, they couldn't send someone to inspect until the next day. So, the 24hr service is for taking messages, not for repairing faults."

"We did not use the spa as we are a bit old for that. The only problem we had was using the shower as I found it quite difficult getting the water temp right and the water pressure was a bit low. The bed was excellent and the lounge quite comfortable. The TV was great and had a good selection of channels to choose from. The room was very clean. We had a very pleasent stay,"

"Two things we didn't like abou this hotel. We don't like "open bathrooms" and all of the rooms apparently have these. Secondly, the aircon was not good. They had a stand up fan nearby which we had to use. I live in Europe and when you see a fan in a hotel room--it doesn't make you happy! This is Australia for heavens sake! AC is critical to a good sleep, I would say. This place does not have good AC, sorry to say. "

"Clean, spacious, comfortable amenities in a beautiful boutique style hotel. We both had the best sleep we've had in years and the spa bath was the extra touch of relaxation needed for a night away. Will definitely be back!"

"Staff on the phone was very helpful with my booking as I had a big group. Good price good service . We loved that all 5 rooms was close together. "

"We didn’t have a balcony. So no view. Our suite was lovely and maintained every day. The Menzies was close to all activities and lots of restaurants. The only set back was the internal blinds did not function correctly. "

"Air conditioning was on the smelly side, no toaster or microwave, had to be hired. No dishes or cutlery, needed to ask for them. Staff were good though and also the in room fridge was incredibly noisy especially at night when trying to sleep."
