A beautiful field of yellow wildflowers. I want to go back to this location when the poppies are starting to bloom in March. If you catch it at the right time Topanga Canyon is magnificent. These meadows occur at high elevations and hold great amounts of birds and wildlife. One of the staff members warned us that cougars had been spotted right around the trail head washrooms the 2 days prior to our arrival.

Very convenient for the airport with free shuttle service. Hotel looks very swish downstairs but the room and especially bathroom were very tired. Small snack shop exceptionally expensive, $6 for a small bottle of water. Nice breakfast buffet.
